Head of Sales

byBiehl is looking for Head of Sales to bring byBiehl’s Danish and international growth journey to the next level

byBiehl is a Danish jewelry company in growth. We have a strong focus on sustainability, timeless & personal design and quality that is made to last. We have an omnichannel mindset where we see the importance of having a combination of online sales, a strong social media profile and being physically present in stores.   

We currently sell via, through our 4 flagship stores (in Denmark and Norway) and through ~300 jewelry stores in Northern Europe and department stores.

Now we want to accelerate our growth even further. For this reason, we are looking for a Head of Sales who can help us accelerate to the next level internationally.

You will be responsible for the overall development of byBiehl sales in close cooperation the management. Beyond development of our wholesale (wholesales stores and e-tailers) and own retail, it is important that you also understand of our online universe and have a good understanding of the drivers of digital sales.
Your international network to retailers, e-tailers and relevant distributors/agents will be important in this position.

You should have excellent skills in defining and executing growth strategies.  

Your main tasks: 

  • Make ‘go-to-market strategies, set sales budgets and make sure that they are reached
  • Ensures success in existing retailers, e-tailers and grow sales in our byBiehl flagship stores
    • Define strategy for wholesale customers (off-line and online) and responsible for the execution of the strategy
    • Train, sparring and motivation of byBiehl sales staff and agents. Ensure that they know sales targets and achieve them
    • Follow up on, support, train, grow and develop distribution partners
  • Develop new markets
    • Establish partnership and open new key accounts internationally; and grow and develop them
    • Open and develop collaborations with 3rd party platforms (e-tailers)
  • Monitor and analyze sales development across channels and products
  • Organize and participate in relevant Trade Shows/Showrooms abroad
  • Being a visible and proactive role model the way through dedication, passion and results
  • Report sales KPIs to the management

 Areas of responsibility

  • All physical sales in DK and internationally
    • Wholesale customers
    • Own retail stores
    • Distributors
    • Sales to 3rd party platforms
  • Responsible for sales staff
    • Sales managers & agents
    • Store managers & store assistants in our flagship stores

Prior experience

  • A proven track record within sales (min 5 years of sales experience) with excellent results, preferably from jewelry or fashion brand
  • Leadership experience; preferably as head of sales, sales director with a sales team reporting to you
  • International experience and network with international department stores and 3rd party platforms (like Zalando, Net-A-Porter, etc.)
  • Understanding of omnichannel sales

  • Doesn’t have to be Danish. Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Have relevant education


You should expect to have a significant number of traveling days as you are expected to spend a lot of time in the local markets we are expanding to.
